PDF-Tools SDK can convert directly from any of the supported Image format files (BMP, DCX, GIF, JBIG, JBIG2, JPEG, JNG, PCX, PNG, TIFF & AMF/WMF/EMF - please check the docs for latest list) to PDF format and you can extract images to Image formats. Merge existing files or Extract pages to create new files, create Thumbnails, Bookmarks and retrieve page count and File properties from these PDF files.

You can also Scan2PDF, create new PDF's by adding images, text and objects at specific co-ordinates and extract the file contents such as images and text from PDF Pages/Files.

Additonally we offer SMTP,MAPI, HTTP and FTP post functions. Example applications are available for many development tools including VC/C++/C#, VB, Delphi, .NET, VB.NET, Clarion etc.

When a Clarion Developer purchases one of our Developer's kits to incorporate functionality into their applications, they can be sure they are buying a product that works with Clarion, offers Clarion specific Help and Examples, along with comprehensive classes and Templates for all versions of Clarion from C5b and up, making its major functions simple to incorporate into their project.

The reason for this is that despite the fact that we develop our SDK libraries in C/C++ and where appropriate Assembler - much of our client work was historically produced in Clarion for Windows, Versions 5 and 55 (our Tools are also designed for use with C6 too) - simply because it is efficient to do so, Clarion is, as we all know, one of the best kept secrets in the development community.

We have 1 developer on staff working 100% of their time on supporting the Clarion community and continually updating our Classes, Templates, Demo's and help documentation - for the Clarion 3rd party community - another staff member spends approximatley 50% of their time working on our newer products and preparing them for use with Clarion prior to release.

Without doubt, with regards the Clarion community, our PDF-Tools SDK has been our most popular offering, it offers developers a means to generate highly optimised Adobe PDF files from their report output - without the need to install printer drivers of any type.

Entirely DLL based, PDF-Tools works by capturing the .WMF output file from the standard Clarion Report 'Print Preview Queue' and converting this to a fully Adobe compatible - highly optimised PDF file.

Additonally because a .WMF file is not a Raster image format - the PDF file remains fully text searchable!

Our Tools ensure your project can be progressed with speed and efficiency - and output arguably the most optimised and compressed files available from any conversion tool today (including Adobe's own !) whilst ensuring faithful reproduction of the source material.But this is not the end of PDF-Tools attraction, it also works (we supply demo apps) with ClarioNet, both Client and Sever Side. Our Templates and Classes are tested with Clarion 5 (with the exception of ClarionNet functionality), Clarion 5.5 and Clarion 6.x.
